Hours 9am to 5pm, Thursday - Sunday unless stated otherwise.
Open from the last Saturday in May- Last Sunday in October. Open
the first two Saturdays in December for Candlelight Christmas from
5-9 PM. Events and times subject to change. Please call

We reserve the right to close early due to
inclement weather, especially if that weather puts our guests or the
living historians putting on an event at risk.
Admission
$10 for adults $9 for senior citizens (65+ with ID) $5 for
Children Ages 6-18 FREE Admission for Children 5 & Under!
May 20
The Roaring 20s - NEW FOR 2023!
We will welcome our 2023 season with a brand-new
event - The Roaring 20s! This one-day event will serve
as a special fundraiser and preview to the 2023 season and
will take
you back in time 100 years to the time of flappers and zoot
suits, prohibition & speakeasies, the charleston & fox trot,
and much more!
Join us as we explore this new era!
NOTE: Because this is a fundraiser/season preview
event, the cost will be $20 per person for all guests.
First 100 tickets sold will include special VIP experiences!

be a more adult-oriented experience than our other
offerings, including moonshine sampling, bootleggers,
gangsters, and flappers.
Memorial Day
Weekend - May 27
Regular Thursday - Sunday hours officially resume
for the season on Saturday, May 27!
Celebrate the start of the summer season at Old
Bedford Village! Bring a picnic lunch to enjoy at our many
picnic tables!
June 10 - 11
Civil War Reenactment Learn about the American military of the period. Talk with vets. Reenactors, period military vehicle rides.Hundreds of troops and horses relive the Civil War. Visit the camps. Battles complete with cannons both days. Spectacular!
June 24 - 25
Wild West WeekendBack to the days of the old west – gunfights, bank raids and poker games. The “Wild West” never looked so good!
Loads of fun activities for all ages!
July 8 - 9 Napoleonic Grande Tactique Join us for a display
of the pagentry and style of early 19th century European
warfare. Learn about the tacitcal brilliance of one of
history's great military commanders, and discover the
origins of tactics that would influence warfare in the
American Civil War and beyond.

Pioneer Day CampOur
popular kids' camp returns for its 4th year!

register! Camp runs from 10 am
- 3 pm. Discounts available for families with
multiple children!

The Confederation of Union Generals & their ladies discuss their lives & the Civil War.

6th Annual
Union Recruiting Encampment: The
Homefront: 1863 We
invite you to join us for a weekend of interpretive living
history, as we recreate the raising of Bedford County’s
Co’s. D, E., & F., of the 138th Pennsylvania Volunteer
Infantry Regiment. This event will feature a
recruiting and training camp, using the U.S. Army
Regulations of 1861 and the U.S. Army School of the Soldier
tactics being demonstrated according to the original
manuals. Camps will feature other U.S. Army departments and
functions that would have existed during the time.

7 & 14
Murder Mystery Evenings There’s been a terrible murder in the Village! You are the detective. Interactive. 6 pm to 10 pm. Please bring
a flashlight and a pencil. After a brief orientation, you will be free
to interview the suspects in their cabins at your own pace. Please plan to
arrive by 7:30 to ensure that you have plenty of time to question all of the
suspects and solve the mystery.
October 21 & 22
Pumpkinfest
Old fashioned family fun awaits all ages at our autumn pumpkin festival! Lots of activities for all. Pumpkin carving, scarecrow making,
snacks, games, and so much more. $10 for adults, Children under 14 free!
*Some activities require a nominal fee.
December 2 & 9
Old Fashioned Christmas in the Village
Stroll through the Village; enjoy live seasonal music.
Cookies, hot cider & cocoa, learn the stories behind your favorite holiday
traditions! Come celebrate the season with us! 5 pm to 9 pm. Bring a
donation of an item with a $10 value for the Bedford County Humane Society to receive a free snickerdoodle and hot
cocoa!
